Good posture and tips while using computer
Most people who work in the office always sit in front of computer a few couples of hours a day so, knowing how to place your monitor and a proper posture are important to avoid pain and other bad affects from your everyday work.
The followings are some tips you should practice:
- The top of your monitor screen should be at the same height to your eyebrows to avoid neck pain
- Space between your eyes and the monitor should be equal to or larger than 50cm to avoid eyes affect from monitor light
- Set monitor light/contrast from 60% to 80% only or place a lamp above your head and to the back to against the monitor light
- Change your posture or stand up and walk in every 1 hour to avoid waist pain
- If you are working at night, please keep the light turn on or if you turn off the light, you should set your monitor light/contrast to lower to avoid eyes affect from monitor light
- Stop working or turn off the computer at least 30 minutes before going to sleep to let your brain stop working and prepare to sleep
